Holiday Club!

Once again our yearly Holiday Club was held in the school summer holidays.

This year the theme was Mission Rescue and it was an exciting few days of activities and games with a Christian message for children aged 5 To 12.

Look out for next year’s in August 2012!

 

Bible Exhibition

We held a Bible Exhibition during the week beginning Monday 10th October 2011 when classes of children from several local primary schools were invited to see displays depicting Bible scenes and giving a flavour of what it was like to be living at that time. This year’s theme was Amazing Acts.

We hope to host another Bible Exhibition next year.

 

Forthcoming Events

On Saturday 3rd December at 7.00 pm Leeds City Mission will be holding their Christmas praise meeting in our church building. The speaker will be Paul Hinton and refreshments will be provided.

 

The Homemakers Candlelight Supper will be held on Monday December 12th at 7.30 pm. Ladies are invited to a Christmas meal followed by Christmas carols sung by candlelight. The cost is £5.00 and you must book your place by Sunday 4th December.

 

Our Christmas Carol Service is at 5.00 pm on Sunday 18th December and is followed by mince pies and tea or coffee. All are welcome.

 

On Christmas Day we have special, short Christmas Day family service at 10.45 am. All are welcome.
